Interested in Collaborating with us?

Are you outside of Penn State or the College of IST and interested in collaborating with us? If so, we would be happy to have you! As a group dedicated to spreading the cause of Open Source software Development, the OSSIG looks to further Open Source causes not only within Penn State, but to external stakeholders as well.

If you have any ideas for cool open source software or other Open Source causes we should look into or you would like to collaborate with us on, please do not hesitate to let us know!

Current Collaborators

Currently, Jeff Schulman is our best outside collaborator with the department. In addition to being an Informatics PHD student within the college of IST, Jeff has also served in the Marine Corps, and serves outside of the College of IST as the Chief Information Security Officer for The Applied Research Laboratory. and is known for promoting big picture Open Source development across multiple university departments.
